We live in a society that revolves around the avoidance of suffering, constantly seeking ways to escape from something as pure and vital as pain. This sensation is directly connected to death, an essential part of life.

Without pain and suffering, how can we truly grasp our own existence?

“Acherontia” is an experimental video that takes as its fundamental concept “embracing suffering to feel truly alive.” It critically examines the widespread trend of avoidance in contemporary society while encouraging a personal reevaluation of the meaning of pain.

The complete eradication of this emotion would result in a life devoid of death, consequently leading to non-existence.
